Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the comprehensive technology roadmap for the company leading up to and beyond 2026, aligning technical capabilities with business goals.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Quantum Readiness) into existing workflows.
- Architecture & Scalability: Oversee the evolution of our core architecture to ensure maximum scalability, security, and performance under high load.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Build and mentor a world-class engineering and R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the C-suite and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors to secure optimal solutions and pricing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Architecture).
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of defining long-term technology strategies and successfully executing them.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
- AI & Data: Strong knowledge of AI/ML integration and data architecture principles.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
