Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for autonomous AI systems deployed in critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives on AI bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency
- Develop predictive models for societal impact of emerging technologies (2026-2030)
- Partner with regulatory bodies to shape policy for neuro-ethical AI applications
- Establish audit protocols for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams on responsible innovation methodologies
- Author white papers on digital consciousness and machine rights paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI (NeurIPS/ICML venues preferred)
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and IEEE 7000 standards
- Proficiency in ethics modeling tools (e.g., Ethical Compass, Moral Machine)
- Experience with quantum computing threat modeling
- Deep understanding of neuro-ethical implications of BCIs
- Track record influencing tech policy at state/national level
