Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global R&D labs
- Present futuristic vision frameworks to C-suite and Board of Directors
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Tech Review and Nature Futures
- Build and lead a specialized futures research unit
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of implementing future-forward tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Executive presence with experience advising C-suite teams
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Portfolio of implemented strategic initiatives valued at $50M+
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
