Responsibilities
- Forecast technology trends and societal shifts through 2026+ using quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies for executive teams
- Author thought leadership pieces published in industry journals and global forums
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of trend analysts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of publishing trend analyses adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Mastery of horizon scanning methodologies and predictive analytics tools
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning frameworks and trend impact assessments
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and adaptation strategies
