Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with 2026+ implications
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligning with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions (metaverse interfaces, autonomous systems, sustainable tech)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards with data-backed impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to co-create emerging technology ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity and human-AI collaboration paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record in forecasting tech disruptions (blockchain, AGI, climate tech) with documented market impact
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Mastery of scenario planning frameworks and quantitative modeling tools (e.g., Delphi method, Monte Carlo simulations)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, AR/VR, and decentralized systems
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) required
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex concepts into executive-ready narratives
