Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight strategy aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and market opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed strategic foresight into product development cycles
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future technology landscapes
- Build and maintain a global network of industry experts, academics, and innovation partners
- Analyze competitive landscapes to anticipate disruptive threats and strategic inflection points
- Mentor senior leadership in strategic decision-making for long-term technological positioning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Strong data analysis and scenario-planning capabilities with ability to synthesize complex information
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and public forums
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience building and leading cross-continental innovation teams
