Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop cross-industry innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 R&D labs and academic institutions
- Present disruptive technology visions to C-suite and board members
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of future tech deployments
- Mentor junior futurists and build our internal innovation incubator
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in technology foresight, systems theory, or futures research
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrable 2020-2025 predictions
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AGI, climate tech, or neurotech
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 100 executives on technology disruption
- Track record of launching at least two industry-defining innovations
