Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends (2026-2030 horizon) to inform strategic R&D investments
- Develop actionable roadmaps for integrating breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision implementation
- Author high-impact foresight reports for C-suite and board decision-making
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into development lifecycles
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify disruptive opportunities
- Represent company at premier futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic innovation or tech consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certificate in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
