Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging domains to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize future insights into product development frameworks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and internal innovation primers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting emerging technologies and market shifts
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic transformation projects
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
