Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economic, and social domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks for future-proofing business operations and product roadmaps
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable strategic initiatives with measurable KPIs
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize emerging technology investments (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: Generative AI, Web3, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented business strategies with measurable ROI
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities with scenario planning expertise
- Outstanding communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy (journal articles, books, keynotes)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing C-suite executives
