Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with market disruptions and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Build predictive models simulating societal and economic impacts of technological shifts
- Advose executive team on future-proofing organizational capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technology field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio of published future-focused research or patents
- Global mindset with experience in multicultural environments
