Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with societal trends
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Create scenario-planning frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography adoption
- Advise C-suite on ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Produce thought leadership content published in top-tier journals and conferences
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for speculative research projects
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight or technology innovation
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech impacts
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, or brain-computer interfaces
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term tech strategy
- Fluency in Spanish and Mandarin for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year predictive modeling
