Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for multi-year planning
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate innovation pipelines aligned with future market needs
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish cross-functional frameworks for agile adaptation to emerging opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
