Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary foresight initiatives to map technology and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Present quarterly trend briefings to executive leadership and board committees
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prioritize innovation pipeline based on future market projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports distributed to industry stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proof methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech landscapes (quantum, AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite decisions
- Published thought leadership in future-oriented publications or journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
