Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology convergence (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal evolution patterns
- Develop 2026-2035 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions
- Author quarterly Future Briefs for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish global partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused organizations
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' program to embed foresight capabilities across departments
- Present at industry conferences including TED, Davos, and SXSW
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Published work on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend mapping
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on future-proofing strategies
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight projects
