Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical trends, and behavioral shifts to forecast market opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future-proofing strategies
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports for Fortune 500 clients
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Advose on ethical implications of exponential technologies and regulatory landscapes
- Translate complex futures data into compelling narratives for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism research
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record of publishing foresight research or thought leadership
- MSc/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping projects
