Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to develop 2026 strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and implement scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and environmental disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future-proofing initiatives
- Author annual 'Horizon Scan' reports for investors and board members with actionable recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for trend validation
- Develop AI-powered trend-early-warning systems for proactive risk mitigation
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and global networks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
