Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for multi-year strategic pivots
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for emerging challenges
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development and investment decisions
- Present strategic narratives to investors, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Build and curate a network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership positioning Nexus as the 2026 innovation benchmark
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario-planning for Fortune 500 clients
- Mastery of horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Experience scaling agile methodologies in enterprise environments
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable roadmaps
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
