Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities and risks through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for board-level decision-making and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Produce trend briefs and scenario-planning models for executive stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight into actionable business strategy and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects with measurable impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) strongly preferred
