Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to define 2026 strategic priorities
- Develop and present futuristic scenarios to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global research labs
- Create annual innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs and impact metrics
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
- Present futuristic insights at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Deep expertise in AI, Web3, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to inspire stakeholders through visionary narratives
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation communities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., books, white papers)
