Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026+ innovation roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against strategic objectives
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for transformational initiatives
- Build and lead a dedicated innovation lab focused on 5-10 year horizons
- Curate external partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology foresight, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial success
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation
- Strong background in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing C-suite and external stakeholders
- Portfolio of successful innovation initiatives launched in the past 5 years
