Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and cultural trends relevant to 2026
- Develop and present compelling future scenarios to executive leadership and board members
- Architect innovation frameworks and roadmaps for 2026+ product/service launches
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into development cycles
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs
- Create executive-level briefings and white papers on disruptive forces shaping 2026
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for upcoming market challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercialized products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex, rapidly changing environments
