Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State 2026' strategic frameworks guiding corporate innovation roadmaps
- Architect human-centered solutions addressing societal challenges of 2026 (e.g., climate adaptation, digital sovereignty)
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed foresight into product development and long-term business strategy
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Present strategic insights to executive boards and industry conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of developing actionable future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, synthetic biology, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in futurism (e.g., books, peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic implementations of future insights
