Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technology trends, market shifts, and societal changes impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive market transformations
- Produce trend reports and innovation briefs for cross-functional stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration into core offerings
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
