Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research identifying emerging technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate resilience solutions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend briefings and scenario-planning frameworks
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions
- Represent company at global futurist forums and innovation summits
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech)
- Exceptional scenario-planning and systems-thinking capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist or strategic publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Delphi methods and trend analysis frameworks
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., STEEP, causal layered analysis)
