Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and paradigm shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership, translating complex futures into executable roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future-proofing principles into product development lifecycles
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite stakeholders on disruptive technologies
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports with quantitative and qualitative trend analysis
- Advain on ethical implications of emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, and biotech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or equivalent field
- Minimum 8 years experience in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools and foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
