Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in future methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Social Sciences (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Published research or speaking engagements at tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives launched
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or WFS)
