Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive business models with 5-10 year foresight
- Develop innovation roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into product/service opportunities
- Author strategic briefs and executive presentations on disruptive innovation vectors
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against future-state benchmarks
- Partner with venture teams to identify and evaluate emerging startups and technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation frameworks
