Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation pipeline aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing rapid prototyping and validation of future concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Design and implement future-proofing frameworks for organizational resilience
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive trends and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
