Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and sustainability sectors
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at major innovation conferences
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging technologies through scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or corporate futurism
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals/conferences
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in virtual/ hybrid environments
