Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future business models and product concepts
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Create thought leadership content including whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of future-oriented thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
