Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate and evaluate future-focused concepts
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for strategic initiatives
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development pipelines
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation consulting, corporate strategy, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future concepts
- Experience with agile development and product lifecycle management
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published research
