- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable systems
- Architect future-state business models and go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies
- Facilitate C-level innovation workshops and scenario planning sessions
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Translate complex technological trajectories into compelling executive narratives
- Oversee experimental R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual innovation budget
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or corporate futurism
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services ($100M+ revenue impact)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (books, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Experience building innovation labs within Fortune 500 environments
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, SWOT analysis)
