Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026+ market shifts
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation initiatives
- Present trend briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of strategic bets
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon as a future-ready industry leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or innovation frameworks
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives within Fortune 500 environments
