Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotechnology, AI ethics, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year projections for product development
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate foresight insights into product requirements, market entry strategies, and competitive positioning
- Produce thought leadership content including whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry reports
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term strategic initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
