Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and sociocultural trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development initiatives
- Present trend forecasts and innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership reports positioning the company as an industry futurist
- Monitor emerging technologies via global research networks and academic partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial innovation
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
