Responsibilities
- Scan global tech, economic, and social trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ horizon
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate tech innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing products/services
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Author trend reports and scenario plans for executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an experimental culture within R&D
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record mapping tech disruption (e.g., generative AI, Web3, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ innovation initiatives launched from trend insights
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP) a strong plus
