Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for market disruption
- Partner with C-suite to align strategic initiatives with long-term futures scenarios
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops using speculative design and scenario planning
- Author quarterly foresight reports with actionable recommendations for R&D teams
- Monitor geopolitical, socioeconomic, and technological signals for early opportunity detection
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend mapping methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP preferred)
