Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 5-10 year market disruptions
- Develop innovation roadmaps and strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future trends
- Establish horizon scanning processes and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, books, reports)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
