Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast market opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps aligning innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to cultivate future-thinking culture and organizational foresight
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards with data-backed narratives
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation portfolio performance against future-state benchmarks
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex future scenarios into compelling executive narratives
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis) preferred
- Experience with innovation frameworks like Design Thinking and Lean Startup applied to long-term strategy
- Demonstrated success influencing C-suite decisions through data-driven future-oriented recommendations
