Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging technological, societal, and economic trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop innovation roadmaps that align with organizational vision and market disruption
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Architect strategic frameworks for next-generation product development
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Present trend insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-oriented thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
