Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess business implications
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive teams on disruptive futures
- Build strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and thought leaders
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Champion innovation culture through internal thought leadership and training programs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts impacting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into market opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology or strategy publications
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementation
