As a key member of our Global Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and industry disruptors to identify paradigm shifts, anticipate market inflection points, and translate foresight into actionable strategies. Your work will directly influence our $2B portfolio of future-facing ventures.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate resilience) to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for market entry and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track exponential growth indicators
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build proprietary foresight models using predictive analytics and machine learning
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify emerging disruptive technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI forecasting platforms
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology futures
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Experience with emerging tech venture evaluation and due diligence
