Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and geopolitical trends to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for executive decision-making across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and client briefings
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions addressing future market needs
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems through proprietary horizon scanning methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and C-suite stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or trend analysis at tech/life sciences firms
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and disruption modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
