Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and sociocultural shifts to identify 2026-relevant innovation opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry disruptors
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with predictive models for technology adoption curves
- Mentor junior innovation analysts in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation consulting with proven trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment
- Strong command of quantitative (Python, R) and qualitative (ethnography) research methods
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or related field
