Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and roadmaps
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on emerging tech disruptions
- Curate and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across product and engineering teams
- Monitor geopolitical, social, and technological shifts impacting innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio of published foresight work
- Strong statistical analysis capabilities with proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEPVL)
- Experience leading cross-cultural innovation initiatives in global markets
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
