Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, societal shifts, and global megatrends to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for R&D teams, integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups driving 2026+ technologies
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members using data-driven storytelling
- Oversee the innovation pipeline from concept validation to pilot execution
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to cultivate forward-thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Published author in futurism or innovation journals (demonstrated thought leadership)
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
