Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotech integration, and sustainable AI systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups, research institutions, and innovation labs
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis of breakthrough technologies (e.g., neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, decentralized networks)
- Present technology foresight frameworks to executive leadership and secure innovation funding
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies within engineering and product teams
- Build and mentor a high-performance technology strategy team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management; PhD preferred
- 12+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario analysis capabilities
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future trends
