Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year strategic technology roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AR/VR, bio-integrated systems)
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets for future-tech initiatives
- Present strategic visions to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in launching at least 2 breakthrough tech products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar foresight methodology training
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for long-term tech initiatives
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and investor audiences
