Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Spearhead the creation of a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and industry trends leading up to 2026.
- R&D Leadership: Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR, Blockchain) to determine their viability for integration into our core product suite.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external vendors, academic institutions, and research labs to stay ahead of the curve on breakthrough innovations.
- Resource Allocation: Direct cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Design) to ensure resources are optimally invested in high-ROI 2026 initiatives.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses of competitor strategies and market shifts to identify opportunities for technological differentiation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex technological strategies to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a compelling and clear manner.
- Implementation Oversight: Oversee the proof-of-concept phase of new technologies, ensuring seamless transition to production environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology strategy, R&D management, or a senior technical leadership role.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), Machine Learning fundamentals, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic plans with a focus on long-term horizons.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and managing cross-functional projects from ideation to completion.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
